This is a paranormal horror story as Paranormal Jack Jnr and Clarisse investigate a house overlooking Ghost Gully. Clarisse seems to struggle the most in the house, finding herself in frightening situations as she relies on Jack to rescue her. Jack, on the other, relishes the near-death experiences and is fascinated with the prospect of life after death. Over time, Clarisse's confidence grows and she throws herself at the horror she encounters in the house. The story follows both perspectives in the third person but delves into their thoughts and concerns. I received a free copy and am leaving a review voluntarily. Clarisse, a psychic medium and companion, Paranormal Jack Jr or on their way to meet up with her husband at a paranormal convention, when a wrong turn leads them to a deserted gold-rush town. Trapped by a violent storm, the pair seek refuge in the only seemingly inhabited house. Here the pair meet the only living relative of the great Aldous Baron and get sucked into the mysteries of the house and the Nowhere Room. Great fun, lots of interesting plot turns and an engaging and easy to read story. Although this is part of a series, you don't have to read the previous novels to enjoy this book. Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing. Didn't finish, not my cup of tea. Didn't feel like the author was paying attention. The constant repeat of the name "Paranormal Jack jr." instead of just Jack, drove me crazy. Cette critique a été écrite dans le cadre des Critiques en avant-première de LibraryThing. A direct and agile story, which begins with a tragedy that marks the limitlessness of how far a person can go in their desire to communicate with the afterlife, and the evil triggered by need and guilt in human beings. The characters navigate an underworld from a fresh and different perspective and, above all, consistent and credible. aucune critique | ajouter une critique
