I only read the last short story in this collection - EPIC by Sarina Bowen and Elle Kennedy - because it’s about my favorite fictional couple ever #WESMIE ❤️❤️

It’s absolutely adorable and sweet and the love Wes and Jamie have for each other makes me so happy. I won’t say why but the hockey match was thoroughly delightful. And it was very refreshing to see Jaime be so confident and sure about what he wanted. And it’s obvious that Wes will do anything for him ( )

Christmas in the City

Just the Tip - Helena Hunting & L.J. Shen - 4 Stars - Regina “Reggie” LaPenus, Horace - Super fun, sexy and funny. I adore Reggie and Horace together. The only minor thing I found wrong with the story is it took me more than a chapter to figure out if Reggie was male or female.

Baby It’s Cold Outside - Melanie Harlow & Corinne Michaels - 3 Stars - Harlow North, Michael West - I like the meet cute between the characters however I didn’t really bond with them. It is likely because the hero is named after my ex. Though I personally had some issues this was a good story and if I could have bonded more with the characters it would have pushed it to a great story.

Kissmas in New York - Vi Keeland & Penlope Ward - 3.5 Stars - Margo, Chet - The ultimate fantasy. A meet cute, undeniable chemistry and a man that gives it all up for you.

The Christmas Crown - Sierra Simone & Kennedy Ryan - Stars - Noelani Queen of Manaroa, Brock Grimsby - This one didn’t catch my attention. I read two chapters and I didn’t connect with the characters at all so I packed it in and moved on.

Songbird - Penny Reid & LH Cosway - 4 Stars - Boderick Adams & Ophelia Kelly - This story was very cute. Two solitary strangers decide to spend Christmas Eve together after a chance meeting in a pub. They move around Ireland a bit, my favorite place to visit in fiction, and develop quite a bond. I wanted more of this story. I want to know if Ophelia’s music career took off. I want to know if she and Broderick reconnected. Seriously I need more.

Epic - Him, Book 2.5 - Sarina Bowen & Elle Kennedy - 5 Stars - Jamie Canning & Ryan “Wes” Wesley - I would give this book 5 stars just for being about Jamie and Wes. These two are my favorite fictional couple. I’ve re-read Him several times but visiting them again made me so happy. I loved seeing the next level in their relationship and careers. I smiled and giggled so much. I will definitely read this again the next time I revisit Him (which will be soon) I love how this writing team never fails to give me feels. ( )

Merry early Christmas to me

What a wonderful and unexpected gift this collection turned out to be. Some of my favorite authors collaborated and wrote perfect stories. I loved that some were already known for collaborating together and others I would never have expected to write together. All were seamlessly done and I had no idea who wrote what.

My only complaint was that I wanted all of these stories to be full books. I was impressed with how much story was packed into each novella. ( )

Worth it alone for the Wesmie story from Elle Kennedy and Sarina Bowen. Not just a follow up from them but continuing to see them grow together. A total keeper! ( )
