This one was just ridiculous. Natalie goes to Vegas after finding her boyfriend of 10 years in bed with another woman. She meets Chris and they end up married after having too much to drink. His agent convinces him to stay married so that this does not detract from winning the Stanley Cup and due to his past. The ridiculousness was that after spending a week together they were in love, what??? She just got out of a 10 year relationship and already in love..puhlease.. yeah it ruined the series. I rather you stop the series than continue with nonsense.

WEDDING RINGS & CHAMPIONS is a fun story. Chris is celebrating winning the Stanley Cup with his teammates in Las Vegas. Natalie is in Vegas to try to forget her cheating ex-boyfriend. They meet in a club and wake up married the next morning. Chris doesn’t have the best reputation in the league. He tries to convince Natalie to stay married to him longer, so a divorce does not overshadow the Stanley Cup Win.

I enjoyed the plot. It was amusing and entertaining. I like that Natalie had Chris to help her deal with her ex, Bruce. Chris and Natalie have great chemistry. I liked getting updates on all the characters from the previous books. WEDDING RINGS & CHAMPIONS is a charming addition to the Slapshot series. I recommend this book to lovers of sports romances. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book. ( )
