In prison, Gwenyth persuades Alec to free her and Jack, Jack saves Gwenyth and Alec from a Siren. Now, Gwenyth needs to find kidnapped Alec and Jack needs to find his ship, Umbra. Despite Gwenyth's orders to 'find Jack Darrow', she and Jack work together. Underlying secrets are revealed during their journey and everyone changes. The writing is descriptive and this is a good YA read.
