Whats the Difference?: Being Different Is Amazing was as amazing as it sounds. This book is an absolute amazing book to teach children that everyone is equal no matter what color skin they have, whether they hair curly or straight hair, how tall they are, none of the matters. I think it is very important to teach young children that everyone is equal and should be treated equally. This book does a great job at that, for example it says "What's the difference if your neighbor has blue eyes and yours are brown? All that matters is when your eyes see ice cream, you eat it together." This is saying that it doesn't matter if your eyes are different colors. They still do the same thing and have the same result. The book does this with many other things including skin color, hair, height, etc. I would use this book in my classroom to show students that everyone is different and unique in their own way and that is what makes the world so beautiful! I loved reading this book!! ( ) This book is a great book that teaches children that differences are great and they are important. It teaches children to look beyond what is being portrayed on the outside. It empowers and encourages children to be confident about who they are. It encourages children to engage in prosocial behavior, learn about those who differ, and value diversity. Ages 3-5 Source: Pierce College Library aucune critique | ajouter une critique
