He broke all his rules... for her. Real estate development CEO Blake Whitman is an Aquarius with a philanthropic nature, but when it comes to work, he's driven and focused, and he would never, ever mix business with pleasure. As far as he's concerned, office romance is off the table. He also never backs down from a challenge, and Kira Layton just accused him of ruining the community. What better way to get her on his side than to hire her? But the more he tells himself to keep his hands off his new, sexy secretary, the harder it is for him to come up with reasons why office romances never work and why it's a bad idea to cross the line...… (plus d'informations)

Blake Whitman is in desperate need of a secretary after loosing the last several he's hired. Kira Layton takes a chance to save the aging community and accepts the role of his secretary, under the pretense that there is no sexual attraction between them. However, the rules are getting a bit fuzzy and as Kira brings her furry friends to work and works harder than any secretary he's ever had, Blake's starting to think office romances aren't such a bad idea.

I would love to give more of a summary than that, but it would give away so much and I just can't do that. This is a book you have to pick up and read for yourself. Kira and Blake might be my favorite book couple in 2015, they are that enjoyable to read. The romance blossoms slowly and has all the problems you'd expect to see from an office relationship, which makes it so believable. They're passionate, not just about each other, but about their individual hobbies and goals. There are also some twists and turns you won't expect that build the storyline up, lending a lot to the explosive relationship. It's a quick read with a slow burn romance, great characters, and a lot of depth.

I really enjoyed this book and hope to read more from the series, Men of the Zodiac. This was my first Marisa Cleveland novel, but it won't be my last. ( )

Blake is a man who has business and the bottom line on his mind all the time. He thinks with his head and does not his feelings decide his actions. Kira is a person who cares about more than the ending balance on her bank account. She leads with her heart and her charity work proves that. Blurring The Lines is a look at what happens when two immovable forces collide. There was more to Blake than Kira realized. Marisa Cleveland's story of how preconceived notions can lead to passion and understanding. I received an ARC of this light hearted entertaining read. ( )

Given an ARC for voluntary review for netgalley. Cute short love story. You have Blake a workaholic CEO who continuously loses his secretaries, one because he over works them, and two because some of them tend to hit on him. He meets Kira, as she is walking her foster dogs and she goes to confront him because he wants to build a waterfront in the building her mothers legacy is at, and she wants to save the building. They end up making a deal that she will work for him and he will try and save her building, although she is overqualified for the position, he has no clue of her pedigree. They ofcourse fall in love, blurring all types of lines, and they have a blow up over misunderstandings. They make up and have there HEA ( )

Blurring the lines is such an adorable story. Blake Whitman, is a CEO with a heart of gold. Kira Layton, is a woman on a mission and Blake is the key to achieving her target. Though Blake has sworn never to get involved with the people he works with, he is unable to resist Kira. But he is used to doing things in a certain way and that causes misunderstandings. He may have broken his own rules for Kira but he could end up breaking her heart too.

ARC provided in exchange for an honest review. ( )
