What a quick read. Found it very useful to speed up and remember what I have read. I received this book from the Library Thing Member Giveaway. And it will be one that I hang on to and re-read every 6 months so the points covered I keep on practicing them and increasing my reading. ( )

Not every 'manipulation' technique works for everyone but those included in this book did resonate with me. For the price, even if only ONE thing helps you, it's a tremendous buy. Fair warning: this is for reading PRINTED matter. If Mr. Brown produces something for online speed reading, I'll be first in line to buy. Disclaimer: I received this work as part of a reviewer's program. I'm pleased in that I might not have found it otherwise - to my loss! Obviously, minimal cost wouldn't have been a deterrent to my buying it directly and did not influence this review. ( )

I felt the book was interesting and was a good refresher course on speed reading. I had learned a lot of this back in school many years ago, but because I hadn't used it I forgot about it. So I would say this book would be good for someone who knows nothing about speed reading or wants to be refreshed on it. ( )

This was a very quick read, not anything really new or exciting. I am already a speed reader though so that is most likely why I did not get anything out of the book. If you are not a speed reader already there might be something for you here. ( )
