This author describes in full detail about many of the different religions of our world. After 9/11, so many have made assumptions about religions and they need to do further research about them before spouting off their hatred toward one another. I truly feel that no one really grasps what was done on that day-yes, thousands were killed tragically, but until everyone understands that it wasn't about religion, then they cannot move forward. Instead of idealizing those that were lost, everyone needs to stop memorializing this event year after year. ( )aucune critique | ajouter une critique
We all come from one source and share one destiny, yet from our commonality emanates a vast array of cultures, civilizations, and beliefs. Still, we are more alike than different, and it is a triumph of humanity that our sense of otherness is dwindling. This survey of today's religions explores a portion of our diversity, in hopes that understanding it may help us find our way to greater unity. Understanding other religions and their similarities to our own enhances our sense of belonging, expands our global community, and connects us more deeply to the past, inviting us to join together to face our collective future.
