Description :: The West Oaks Branch was built on land donated by the Pease Family Trust, it was funded by the Library System and a Florida Library Construction Grant.

A special feature at West Oaks is the sculpture "The Squid Squad" by local artist Vince Sansone. The piece won "Best in Show" at the 1999 Fiesta in the Park. The Fiesta Committee purchased the sculpture and donated it to the Library.
