Okay, so I really enjoyed the first book, and am currently on the second but I am having some issues. I like my urban fantasies to have a good amount of romance that kind of balances out the angsty stuff, and so far there is not that much romance and too much angst. Is it worth my while to continue with the series?

I really enjoyed the series, but it is definitely dark and angsty. I think I liked the first book best, because that is the one with the most romantic tension. It was a little while ago though so I'm a little fuzzy.
The Dante Valentine series is the most polished of St. Crow's work that I like - she has another series in mid-writing (Jill Kismet) that's really sort of floundering for me. I like her Watcher series and the Society series which are more pulp-y.
I would say finish Dante Valentine, but I like to see things through. It may not get a whole lot better than the second book, but it won't get worse.

I enjoyed the first two or three, that I remember, and I kept going to the end of the series. The last book was very angsty but it was a conclusion. I kind of like the Jill Kismet series, I have only read the first one so far, it's not as angsty and the idea behind it is quite good and has a lot of potential.

I liked the first book in the series quite a bit, but since I found the second one deeply disappointing, I gave up on the series.

Thanks for the advice, I have also heard that the Jill Kismet series was better. I think that I will not read the rest of the Dante series, or maybe read it only if I come across them in the library. I would normally finish a series but I guess there are a few exceptions. Thanks!
