Adding from author page goes wrong

I wanted to add Spiritualise, by Jonathan Rowson.
The author page https://www.librarything.com/author/rowsonjonathan lists the book, and the mouseover gives the right title but the wrong cover and the wrong abstract, of a different book by the same writer. Clicking the link to the book brings me to a page where the title is wrong as well https://www.librarything.com/work/28254250

What is going on here?

The link seems to be going now to the correct title. The cover is wrong, likely an Amazon issue, so I flagged it as "inapplicable to this work".

I separated the other book out and combined it where it belongs. It should look better in a day or two.

Of course, the best place to use to add a book is the Add book page.

Thank you both.

I do prefer to use the Add book page myself, but it did not know this book.

I still cannot add the correct book though (except manually, of course). Clicking on Add book still adds Dispatches from a Time Between Worlds to my bookshelf, although the link in the Add popup links to the correct page.
Do you think this just needs time, or is something else wrong?

What source did you use? That is, what did you choose under the "Search where" option? Amazon? Library of Congress? Overcat? Something else?

If you haven't had problems with the "Add books" page before, it probably means you have a library of relatively new books with ISBNs. As someone who doesn't, I use try all three that I named before dropping to manual entry (and still have hundreds of manually entered books!). The point is, relatively unusual books may well be cataloged wrong by at least one input source. So it's best to try several.

(I think MarthaJeanne will say that Amazon isn't a good source. I think it's true that its error rate is higher than LoC. But LoC, surprisingly, doesn't include a lot of books that Amazon has. Overcat is often best for foreign books. So try them all. And maybe others as well, if, e.g., you are in a country other than the United States or frequently use a language other than English: see what local sources there are in the other country and language.)

I found the ISBN: 9781999836801 and tried using Amazon.uk (since in was published in the UK) on the Add Books page. And I got Dispatches from a Time Between Worlds: Crisis and emergence in metamodernity

So I think you're going to have to add it manually.

Amazon is (now) actually very good for recent books, and has them before library sources. This is certainly true for German. It often has really bad data for older books because their marketplace venders do a lousy job.

Overcat is my first choice, but rather useless for books I have picked up from the 'new books' table at either my bookstore or library. But I check all the data on every book I enter, no matter what source I use.

Worldcat knows of no library with that book. They give 9780901469526 as the ISBN

If you can't find the book from the sources on the add book page, the add book button on the work page won't help either. It does not use LT as a source.
