Any thoughts on Sir Stanley Winthrop? Why would he call Gabrielle by her first name given the conventions of the time? Could he be a suspect in your eyes?

>1 Andrew-theQM: Sir Stanley had feelings for Gabrielle. When speaking to Devlin Sir Stanley's eyes were bright and his face flushed and his decision to stop digging because of her death.I do not see him as a suspect at this point.

That was strange that he referred to her given name. I would expect him to be the murderer. Possibly there was something going on between them.

Was there some sort of relationship between them, were they having an affair? At this point in time I do not see him as a suspect but that could yet change.

He did seem to have more than feelings of friendship for her. I don't think that he's a suspect either...but as you all know I have been wrong before...at least once or twice. :)

>5 Carol420: 😊

Given the delights of his wife, Sir Stanley may have had a liking for Gabrielle.
At this point in time, I’d suspect Lady Winthrop more than I’d suspect Sir Stanley.
