Where to buy your Lakeside Classics?

I've been diligently hunting them down on the internet and have everything back to the first twenty years or so whenever I can find them at a reasonable price. Most I have snagged for $10-30. Those early years are hard to find and when you do they are astronomically pricey. I thought of haunting the antiquarian book fairs if they come back after the pandemic. Any other suggestions on tracking down the early ones?

>1 varielle: Used book stores in the Midwest -- Peace of the Past in Galena, Illinois and Paul's Book Store in Madison, WI, etc. -- often have large selections, including the early editions. You have to go in person, though. I don't believe either has online ordering.

Thanks! I may have to make an excursion.

I just bought the 1921 Alexander Henry’s Travels and Adventures for an embarrassing price but it was my birthday. What is reasonable for the first 20 years of the series? It seems the prices of those early ones have really shot up.

I’m off to the Florida Antiquarian Book Fair this weekend and will be looking for Lakeside Classics. I’m missing most of the first twenty years. What is a reasonable price? Searching on line the prices are astronomical.
