The introduction to my edition (Wordsworth Classics) was so painfully complicated and boring that I thought I would just hate this book. So I skipped the second half of the intro and am now happily reading about the marriage made in hell. Delightful!

Has anybody else been reading this? More than appropriate for Halloween month! I didn't really need to choose another scary book for the group challenge.

I finished it last week. I enjoyed the story a lot more than I anticipated. The story told from two points of view was interesting.
