What was your final rating and why?

I'm ending at 4. Even though I really wanted Harry to get back to RHD, I think this was a good ending and I'm okay with him being at Hollywood Division for the time being

I'm staying at 4.5. I started to go 5 because I really like this series and I love Michael Connelly's writing but I was frustrated with the lOOOOOOng non-chapters...so it lost that half star from me. I don't recall any of the other books being written like this. I wonder if he did it to make the rewrite for the show easier and it was published before it could be divided into chapters.

I'm going to be generous and give it 3.5, because it wasn't a bad book. I suspect it wasn't written with a series in mind.

I'm ending with a 4.5. I so enjoyed seeing the "early" Harry and some of the characters we will meet again. Connelly has Harry age normally in this series which I think is quite rare.

I'm ending with a 4. All in all it was a good book but more chapters would have made it easier to read.

Overall average 4.08. Not a bad start.

I will rate it at 3.75, rounded up to 4.00 for Librarything.
