Were you surprised that Pauline was a convicted child killer? Any thoughts on her innocence?

I'm interested to hear what the real story is. I suspect that the child was actually killed by the sibling, Timothy Wills, and he's now getting rid of Pauline in case she knows something and is willing to talk.

I figured Pauline was the murderer mentioned in the prologue so I was not surprised. I think she is innocent also and Timothy Wills killed the baby and that's why Timothy killed Pauline.

I don't think she killed anyone. I agree that Willis killed the baby and he probably killed Pauline.

I think she was innocent of killing the baby. I think it looks like Wills killed the baby, which is why I don't think it was him.

I think we've all got it worked out; except that OM has a very strong point in that it all looks too tidy.
The only other candidate would be the childhood friend, Thewlis. (Unless Pauline did kill the child - the old double twist...).
