With her search for a child minder do you think Pam is wanting to go back to work sooner?

no or she would be pursuing it more diligently. She seems to be taking her time so that she knows what options are available when she does need to hire someone

>1 Andrew-theQM: I hadn't thought of this, but you might be correct. She is having to take the brunt of the childcare herself - Wesley is either working or reading the newspaper...

After the last episode with the baby crying for 3 hours, Pam did seem a little bit worn out and maybe wanting to go back to work sooner.

She may just be getting ready but I think she is wanting and needing to go back to work and she's also feeling a little guilty about it. From her reaction to the Morning Coffee that she went to and her making a friend, it seemed that she hasn't had much of a social life.

I think she wants to stay home with her new baby and she also doesn't trust anyone else to watch him. Wesley's job doesn't make him a reliable partner in childcare. I think if she could find someone good, it would make it easier for her to go back.
