Hi everyone -
I'm having to start my thread with a failure - once again I have abandoned Remembrance of Things Past, and I've decided to draw the line this time so three tomes will be moving on to the charity shop.
Moved on to Black Lamb and Grey Falcon by Rebecca West; fell asleep whilst reading it in bed; and woke to find that my leg had gone numb from the weight of it.
I think I'll switch to something a bit lighter, both literally and figuratively ...

>1 Sovay: I read Black Lamb and Grey Falcon last year (it took me over 3 months, and I was really happy I had an ebook copy for exactly the same reason, my poor wrists wouldn't have coped with the weight of it). Wishing you a lighter read next! (and welcome to the group!)

Thanks for the welcome, everyone.
>4 Jackie_K: I do most of my serious reading on the train to & from work, but quite a few of my unread tomes are enormous so I'm going to have to consider the ebook option (though it's not my favourite way to read) or risk serious back trouble from carting them around with me!
