Were you surprised by the final twist involving Hawkes?

Yes, I think I was; but it did make a strange kind of sense. He did come across as a cold fish, shucking of familial connections with ease.

That was a very interesting final twist. Didn’t expect that at all.

This did come as a surprise at the end because we thought everything was resolved, although not altogether a susrprise as we did suspect him earlier on.

it was a surprise at the same time that it wasn't. As Andrew said, we suspected him of all kinds of things so while it's a surprise that he would pay to have his wife murdered, it's not a surprise that he was up to no good.

He was a creep but I didn't expect him of murdering his wife.
