I don't see anything wrong with that. They only went to the play and nothing really went any further than that.

She's a victim of a crime, not a suspect, so I don't think there's a conflict of interest in this instance. Joe being Joe he should strike while the iron's hot. Not that I think he's got time to fit in a relationship...

I think he should be waiting until the case is over, even if she is a victim.

She's connected to the place that he's investigating including her neighbors. While there really isn't anything legally or ethically wrong with it...it would have been more professional if he had waited. Nothing wrong with having lunch or going to the play...that was part of his investigation but it probably isn't going to stop with tea and a play...and that could cause problems in his case.

I don't think he's doing anything wrong. He has the worst luck with women so I'll assume something bad will happen to her or she'll be mentally deranged or something similar.

While it's not wrong, I do think that it's questionable on his part. He should wait until the investigation is over
