With the rise in static electricity, did you think there would be an anti-matter explosion? Any thoughts what the outcome of the explosion would be?

Yes it was possible that there would be an anti-matter explosion. If Safia and Omaha didn't get out of the chamber in time, they could have been killed.

The static electricity setting off some type of explosion...anti-matter or otherwise...was a very real possibility.

There is that possibility but I think it might end up being contained underground. Hopefully both Omaha and Safia will make it out in time

I wasn't prepared for the big one at this point - I think there will be one mighty explosion at the end of the book: the antimatter is set to reach critical point within its meteoritic crust at any time, the final explosion will destroy Ubar for good and all.

I agree with >5 Sergeirocks:. Too early for the big one.

I thought there would be an explosion, possibly not a massive one, but the outcome from this would be that the entrance to Ubar would be revealed.
