Did you think the Queen could have used anti-matter power to cause a sinkhole and secure the gate?

Yes, it is possible that the Queen used anti-matter power to cause a sinkhole and secure the gate.

I think that seems unlikely since the technology to work with it didn't exist back then (of course they didn't smelt either and they have an iron heart so who knows...), but that appears to be where the story is going

We're having to suspend our disbelief a lot now that Safia's 'family" has arrived and the city of Ubar has materialized. So okay lets go with the anti-matter theory.

I suppose it's possible that Bilquis knew that small amounts of the meteorite material could cause explosions. I don't believe she'd know what it was (ie. antimatter), or that she could claim to control its power.

I don't think she would understand the workings of antimatter or meteorites, but I do believe she would understand that the pieces of a certain type of stone could cause explosions.

This is a puzzling one as didn't have the technology but somehow triggered this event? Yes overall very puzzled by it.
