Any thoughts or theories about what happened between Safia and Omaha which would lead them to break off their relationship?

I would say that Omaha is the type of man who would be hard to pin down.

I think something tragic happened to her that filled her with guilt and caused her to end the engagement.

Perhaps there was too much differences in their backgrounds...she lives in a palace and he lives in a elevator...hotel room...tent???? Safia does seem to feel a great deal of guilt about something so >3 Olivermagnus: could be right. Safia could have also imagined him saying "You stay here and play with your artifacts while I go out and save the world. Don't wait dinner for me." I also wondered how much Kara had to do with the breakup. She doesn't seem to like Omaha very much and puts him down to Safai.

Once again Lynda I'm with you >3 Olivermagnus:. I think there was some sort of tragic event that they keep alluding too where other people lost their lives and Safia blames herself. Wish I knew what but I think this will be revealed at some point.

Based on the way that she's been acting, I assume that there was some trauma that she experienced (a bombing, an attack) and that Omaha didn't seem appropriately concerned or upset and that she broke things off with him.
