I thought I'd flag this up as it's proving a charming read over the holiday. AIUI, it was becoming increasingly hard to find but has been republished and is also a significant pony book title. The e-edition has been at least £2.99 but it's currently 99p/$1.23. (Disclaimer: I've no connections with the publisher etc.)

I acquired this a short while ago and hope to read it soon. I love vintage pony books and am looking forward to this one.
