This author wrote a book - The Twentieth Day of January - in the 1980s about an American president put into the White House by his Russian controllers. There was a discussion about the author on the BBC programme Saturday Live last week-end.

Sounds like one to read this week! Any fans out there with any particular recommendations of his other work?

I've not read any of his for decades, but I do have 31 in my library! (Surprised to see that there are four others with more!) Just devour any you can get hold of (which might be a challenge).

>2 Noisy: abebooks has a fair selection although The Twentieth Day of January seemed to have sold out when I looked. Fortunately that, and several others, are available for 99p on Kindle.

You've gotten my attention! I'll be looking for books by him.
