The end of September crept up on me, and I needed a snake book that I could read in one day... I only made 2 notes from the book, which honestly... was disappointing.

Then I heard it. Viper Snake someone shouted. "Do they call you that too?" smiled Dad. "You mean they called you Viper Snake?" "They sure did. They stopped doing it when they realised I didn't mind." "Didn't you?" I said. "I did at first but after a while I thought that there were worse things than snakes. I even pretended to be one. HISS. That showed the." "Oh!"Suddenly Viper Snake didn't sound so bad after all. Loc 203 31%
Ugh! Where do I start with this. Dialogue - new speaker new line? What happened to that rule. The whole book was full of things like this, I quote this one only as an example.

Why is it that tents seem to have a mind of their own? When you see pictures of people on camping holidays the sun is shining, the people are smiling and the tents stand tall on the straight flat ground. Don't be fooled.loc 391 40%
My sentiments exactly... one of the few points in the book that actually made any kind of connection with me.

But you're GOOD at putting up our tent. Which we sadly haven't been able to use this year. :(
