Book Barge banned in Bristol

I can understand the authorities concerns but still you would think they might find some way to accomodate her.

Doesn't look like she's got much stock. But would be cool to visit anyway. I hope she manages to make her way up closer to Manchester sometime.

What a marvelous idea! More details on their website. Looks like they're a seasonal operation; might have to see what they're up to next year.

An earlier article suggests that she was already in Manchester but maybe she'll be back. She previously owned an independent bookstore but the business was failing so this is her attempt at saving it. It's certainly a novel idea!

I live about a mile away from where she was moored in Bristol. Why did I not know about this until now?! Grr.

I think this will do more for her sales than if the local authority hadn't done anything. Had anybody here actually heard of this before it appeared on the news item? I know I hadn't but am now intrigued and may check it out when she's back in Manchester next month.

I had seen an article about her earlier in the summer before she went to Bristol.
