Whoops... got the wrong Castle title in the Subject. Sorry!

Thought we could use a place to discuss our upcoming read of Richard Castle's NAKED HEAT. Do we want a general thread and a spoiler thread? Or possibly divide the discussion up by chapters? I'm listening to an audio version of it, so I'm not sure how many chapters there are.... thoughts?

I haven't started it yet but I think that one thread should be enough, provided that we put **SPOILER ALERTS** up as needed. Maybe as I go along, I'll change my mind about that, but I like having only one place to look for things like this when it's inside a group.

It doesn't matter either way to me. I'm next in line for the book at the library, so I'll get cracking on it as soon as it's in!

I read this last year and enjoyed it. I actually read it before I started watching re-runs of Castle so I went about it kind of backwards. Maybe not the most well written story ever, but quite fun :-)

There is a new Nikki Heat novel coming out this year as well...I'm looking forward to it.

I've finished Naked Heat, and I enjoyed it more than the first book, Heat Wave. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it to people who hadn't seen the TV show, because as a mystery, it's only so-so. However, for fans of the show, it's a lot of fun to read. Like the first book, there are many parallels between this book and the TV show, in terms of plot lines and characters.

I'm starting to get into now and hope to finish by the end of the week but since it's my bedtime book, depends on how early I head to bed, how much I will get done each night.

I picked up my copy from the library last Friday, and I should probably get a head start on it since it's due in 2 days. *gulp* I can read this book instead of working, right?
