Claire Fullerton's third novel, Mourning Dove, was released by Firefly Southern Fiction on June 29, 2018. Mourning Dove is a Southern family saga set in 1970's and 1980's Memphis. It is a semi-finalist in the Faulkner Society's 2017 Words and Music contest in the novel category. Mourning Dove was awarded the Readers Favorite Bronze Medal in Southern Fiction. Claire is the author of “A Portal in Time” and “Dancing to an Irish Reel,” a Kindle Book Review 2016 award winner and a Readers Favorite in cultural fiction. Both A portal in Time and Dancing to an Irish Reel were published by Vinspire Publishing. Claire is an award winning essayist, a contributor to magazines,including Southern Writers Magazine, Celtic Life International,and the Dead Mule School of Southern Literature. She is a five time contributor to the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” book series. Her novella, Through an Autumn Window will be published on November 1st 2018 as one of four in the book A Southern Season, by Firefly Southern Fiction. She has recently completed her fourth novel, and is represented by Julie Gwinn of the Seymour Literary Agency. Claire is from Memphis, and now lives in Malibu, California.
