The books I have at home number about 1000 but the number constantly fluctuates. For some years I kept all books that I bought and was given. The unloved one were recycled to Lions Book Stores and sometimes even binned. the loved ones stayed on my shelves and were reread occasionally. It was lovely to glance at a shelf and by merely looking at the spine or cover, remember the plot and the characters, remember what moved me and changed my views. In the last so many years I have found my self giving the books away...one lad at school got two boxes full of Sci Fi that I realised I would never read again. Other books get passed on quickly to friends and family and I just never see them again.

Hi, I am a TL working in an adult re-entry college. I love connecting people with the resources the want, so Library thing is going to be a great resource for finding those books teachers and students are wanting to read.
