- Book collecting interests are Antarctic, both World Wars , and New Zealand non fiction.
The size of my library is limited to about 1400 books because of the available space in my two bedroom villa.As I acquire new books I have to get rid of some of the old ones. A very sad process. Recently I have had to get rid of most of my fiction colllections. This has included complete sets of Maclean, Bagely, Shute, Forbes, Innes and some on going collections of Patterson, Childs. I console myself with having obtained enjoyment from building the collections. Lots of time at book fairs and old book shops. - A propos de moi
- Retired, collect books, live in a Retirement Village, and regularly travel overseas. Spent two winters in the Antarctic. Currently researching Scott's Northern Party, especially the journey back to Cape Evans after surviving an Antarctic winter in a snow cave.
