A propos de ma bibliothèque: To date, all 3 works are in the mystery/suspense genre. However, the current work in progress makes the transition into "cross-genre" Sci-Fi/mystery/suspense/thriller, featuring a futuristic accidental crime-fighter.
A propos de moi: Donna Carrick is the author of 3 mystery novels. The First Excellence, Sept/09, features Li Fa-ling, a young Canadian who returns to China to re-connect with her past. There she encounters murder, kidnapping and political intrigue. Together with Detective Wang Yong-qi and his brilliant but uncouth partner, Cheng, Fa-ling must stop a kidnapper before another baby girl goes missing!

Previous works include: "The Noon God" featuring Desdemona Fortune and set in Toronto's academic community; and "Gold And Fishes", which follows Canadian aid worker Ayla Harris to post-tsunami Indonesia and Phuket in search of her lost brother-in-law.
