- A propos de ma bibliothèque
- I have hundreds of hardbound research books about women and minorities in the West. My first novel was from my grandpa about our Norwegian heritage. I love Willa Cather, James Michener, John Steinbeck. I love short story collections, books that surprise me and authors who take the time to do it right. I love detail, research and emotional depth in novels.
- A propos de moi
- I'm a rabid fan of women's western history. I travel the west, spend all my money on research books and pester my husband with long drives into the desert. I write the deep emotions of women on the frontier, both physically and emotionally. Three kids, 2 grandkids and a couple of old dogs. "I write so my handful of pebbles, tossed into still waters, will create a ripple."
