From composing to been keeping to raising ducks and chickens to the smallest of gardens this beautifully organized and photographed book is a delight to the home gardener who loves to read as well as garden. Showing pictures of real gardens in tubs, pots and even a bed of sideways cinderblocks is an inspiration to even the most space-bound and reluctant gardener. I learned a lot from this gardening book, and even more important to me, I love the process of reviewing and using some of the information. Although I won’t raise chickens, I love the fresh eggs and hope one of my other farmer type friends will take on this challenge.

As I hope this review reflected, I really liked this book and give it a five stars. It even takes the beginners through the basics of preserving the bounty which some of us forget to plan for. However, if our local food closets are the recipient of too many tomato and pepper bushes and the plenty of our home gardens, that is wonderful. Reading this book is a delight and I am going to buy my own copy since I borrowed this one from the library. Enjoy.… (plus d'informations)
