I'm about 60 pages in and already the book is a solid read.

The theology is pretty interesting, with its focal point being on God's utterance of "very good" after the end of his creation. He indeed backs up his OE claims with scientific evidence(which really doesn't need to be proven since science has done so adequately) and with careful exegesis and hermeneutics.

The best part of his writing style is his attitude. He holds firmly to 1 Peter 3:15 as a way to conduct himself. He relegates everything to the reader in love, while keeping an up-most reverence for Scripture and God's sovereignty, which is often thrown out the window when discussing science and the age of the earth.

A highly recommended read. Very easy read--non-technical geared specifically to the church going laymen and seeker alike. About fourty minutes in and I'm on page 60.
