Brutally candid biography, could have been titled "how cycling broke me" , book is quite negative, still I appreciated him conveying unconvenient realities of the pro peloton.

Interesting reading if you are a fan of pro-cycling. No major revelations, but plenty of anecdotes from the big races.

Verrassend goed boek. Helden hun verhalen worden telkens neergeschreven, maar knechten hebben ook een interessante geschiedenis.
Wegelius zijn carrière was niet erg opvallend, maar het boek blijft wel interesseren. Het einde is minder, heel veel psychologisch gepraat, maar weinig toegevoegde waarde.
Interessante passages: zijn hematocrietproblemen, zijn verhalen over Di Luca en zijn verbanning van de nationale ploeg.
