This is an interesting example of erotic pulp fiction, characterised by an interesting plot which is not carried through the book in a satisfyingly complete form. The basic concept is an interesting one; a widow with three teenage daughters resolves to marry again, but to a man she knows little about. The daughters are rebellious, and resent the enthusiasm of the new stepfather for rigid discipline of the sort which involves impacts of hands or hairbrushes on vulnerable rear parts. The man, of course, is completely unreliable, quite apart from being in the business of training large dogs to satisfy lonely, rich ladies. Having opened up all of these leads, and more, the book peters out soon after the couple marry.… (plus d'informations)
