The Three Little Pigs
I very much dislike the tendency to take the old fairy tails and make them kinder, gentler, happier stories. They were dark, and often violent, for a reason. I believe this retelling where the pigs and the wolf live happily every after as friends totally misses the point of the original story, where only the pig who built the strongest house and planned against the worst survived.
