Rub-a-Dub-Dub, There's a Monkey in Our Tub!
By: Heather Wallace
AISN: B005S3L4IQ
Published October 2, 2011
Available Format: ebook

My Rating: ★★★★★

Goodreads’ Synopsis: When a monkey mysteriously appears in one family's bathtub they aren't quite sure how he got there or what he'll do next. However, in this delightfully illustrated children's book, one thing is certain—taking a bath is only the beginning of this monkey's antics as he makes their house his home.

This was a great mid-afternoon read for my children and me. The story is written in cute little rhymes and the illustrations are simple and adorable. This would be perfect for a child who was just learning to read and still a ton of fun for more seasoned readers, even Mommy !

I do hope for a paper edition someday soon… Now we’re off to read it again!

This is the first book the girls and I have read on our kindle. I was hesitant to review a children’s book on the kindle since they’d be missing out on the color illustrations. But that’s my bad, because both my 5 and 7 year old daughters were eager to read this book on the kindle.

My 5 year old really thought the story was cute. She started off sitting next to me, but quickly climbed into my lap and pressed the “turn page” button while I read. She said the monkey in the story was a funny guy.

My 7 year old, who came into the room after we’d already started reading the book, took the kindle from me so she could go back and re-read what she missed. I appreciated that the language in this book about the antics of a strange monkey in their house was simple enough for her to read it alone.

Overall, both my girls and I adored this cute book about a family finding a monkey in their bathtub, and just what this monkey does as he goes about his day. Your little ones will enjoy the monkey’s antics as well.

This is a delightful rhyming children's book. It is suitable for boys or girls and could be a book read to them and then as they get older one that helps them learn how to read. it would be a great book to get the little ones used to bathtime too! Its fun and the illustrations are brilliant. What a great little book, it is definitely the type of book I would have bought my daughter when she was young. I would highly recommend it! In fact I think it should be available as either a bath time waterproof book or a large format picture book for the children.… (plus d'informations)

Wish this book had been available when I first started knitting. It is logically laid out, with tips progressing from starting projects to more complicated processes. I like the visuals that accompany many of the pointers.

It is a perfect book for those that are new to knitting, as well as those that aren't yet accomplished knitters. This would definitely be a great book to carry in your knitting bag to reference.
