Thoughtful and beautifully made. My favorite characters, though, were the ones on the edges of this story--Jane and Beth and Ryan and Daniel, in particular.

This graphic novel set in real place Toronto's St James Town. In this town lives different countries and religious people. Story told from various kid perspective and someone gave him supernatural power or visions to warn them about coming danger. At first they were surprised and didn't believed but after they see birds falling from sky...
SPOILER: So finally they all come together and with granted powers takes all other people to a shelter where (I think) survives a catastrophe. :SPOILER
So when it times comes people from various country with different religious can unite for greater purpose, for surviving.
Art is decent not too much simply or gorgeous. Text in book isn't only english but german and other that I don't know. Finally story can be a bit longer more detailed about characters.… (plus d'informations)
