While I enjoy painting with watercolor, I often get stuck in a rut with techniques, forgetting most of what I've learned in classes since I only do watercolor in the winter. This book is absolutely perfect because it covers everything and is a great refresher for me. I will pull it out every year to help jog my memory on techniques, coloring, and tools (and more). Plus, it's beautiful and approachable and very sturdy.

This is a fun daily watercolor activity book. The illustrations are cute and informative. This is a full color activity book that has a watercolor assignment for each day for a year, It explains tools, brushes and techniques starting with the color wheel and gradually getting more complex. I liked the Year In Art - Watercolor so much I bought a copy for my classroom. This book is very inspiring.

Great ideas for people interested in playful approaches to watercolour, and a penchent for creating works as gifts (this is me). Simple instructions that lead to satisfying results, by way of a fun and approachable process.
