Small format overview book of military vehicles from the very first to the end of the 1960s. Format is compact, one per page, with a single para description and some standard details. Bart Vanderveen is of course well known here.

But what's the point of this? It's not a complete listing, it's not big enough to be a reference, there's very little detail on each. So other than a skimpy overview of the broad subject, rather than as anything useful about particular vehicles, it's hard to see what this book might be good for.½

It's an English book and it has some errors. It is not a bad survey and it is well illustrated.

A beautiful and unique (?) collection of text and photographs on the subject, possibly eclipsed since published, but of itself a gem.
