This was fascinating. Careful character development and scene-setting from both Jewish and Palestinian points of view allowed me to learn while enjoying a good story. I did not mind that the story often seemed less important than the history and current affairs lessons. It worked for me. I received this as a LibraryThing Member GiveAway. Thank you.
