Loved the stories in this book! Every story kept my interest throughout. Such interest that I read the whole book in one night. I have always loved this type of writing and do not see it very often these days.

A fabulous collection of dark stories...a cross between Mike Hammer and Steven King! Perfect to read under the covers, at night, in the dark. My kind of book. Great stories. Great story telling.

Micro fiction is a great collection of compositional muscle flexing. Some wonderful, some horrible, each one of the story-lets contained within this book is enjoyable to read, if only for the experiment. It is as though the collection of authors is trying to "even the score" with the Picture, by seeing how few words it really has to take to impart deep meaning. It may even encourage your own attempt at concise writing. This book is great fun, easy to put in your bag and short enough per segment that you don't mind people interrupting your concentration on a crowded train. This is a super little collection of short contemporary stories with twisted endings. I loved it!

Michael Twist has written entertaining short stories that had me smiling and surprised at some of the outcomes. I recommend this book if you are looking for a quick and entertaining read.

These are collections of short stories and they are such a pleasant surprise. I really like each of the stories, they are well written with relatable characters, great plots, and complete story lines. Well done Mr. Twist. I will recommend all of your books to my friends and anyone else that will listen.

Such a great read. . . . What’s here is sometimes scarier than even the most frightening horror film. . . .Elements of Darkness will entertain without offending.

The characters are described vividly to the point that you can't help but see their vulgar personalities come to life in the form of pure evil. Stories move quickly and with purpose providing an original (something hard to fine in the horror genre) and entertaining reading experience.

This book will shock you and make you think. Way to go Michael!
