This is a nonfiction book about joeys. It introduces a couple different marsupials, explaining where they live, what they eat, and most importantly what life is like for their joey. I would use this story in a second grade classroom, with grade level readers. Whats good about this book is that it has difficult words but in the context of the story and information, students are very interested in it and are willing to pick up on those words.
