A short, nicely-made keepsake celebrating the tenth anniversary of Boston's Ticknor Society. It includes essays on the founding of the Society and background on George and Anna Ticknor, lists of selected Society programs, lists of board members, &c.

A collection of short essays by Ticknor Society members about their personal collections and collecting. Obviously this will be hit or miss depending on your own interests: those I found particularly interesting include Sid Berger's on his collecting habits, Owen Gingerich on false provenance and book censuses, Todd Pattison on a bibliophilic book for young boys, and Mary Cronin's piece on George Ticknor's book-borrowing habits.
