This work was published in 1974, even though its author had been dead since 1960. It tells, in a wonderful straight-forward way the story of a man who was born Nov 24, 1829, at Harford, Pa., and came to Fort Dodge, Iowa, in 1854. Carpenter died May 29, 1898,in Fort Dodge. An excellent book.… (plus d'informations)
