This book includes the usual sections all good pattern books do; information on materials, equipment, symbols, abbreviations, an embroidery guide as well as information on both knitting and crocheting stitches.
Designer Cat Thomas says she has childhood memories of making pincushions and gathering her moms pins. She has created some very pretty and creative patterns for this collection.

I decided to crochet the Flower Mandala pincushion. The pattern was easy to follow and I made this one easily and quickly.
With a nice variety of patterns, I think 50 Pincushions to Knit and Crochet makes a nice addition for any knitters and crocheters pattern stash.
