Missing Something

“The Professor” appears to be someone named Albert, who practices market research, and hustling women. There are a few dozen stories from his life, which he finds outrageously funny. He invites us all to contribute to volume two, and has a website that makes all the same pitches as the book, and has the same look and feel. He has outlines, like of Albert Einstein’s face, for children to color, but the book is filled with penis stories and other less than appropriate fare. The stories are accompanied by playful cartoons, which add nothing but take up space to make up for the lack of content.

The biggest problem with the book is that it is not funny. The “jokes” are not well constructed, so the punchlines miss, time and again. Normally I would post my favorite right here, but I really don’t have one. At no point was I ready to LOL, let alone LMAO.

I don’t know who he tested this book on to get all the “hilarious” reactions, but real market research would have told him his hubris had passed the tipping point, and to stick to his day job. The whole thing would be totally forgettable, except I’ve written this review which will stare back at me from now on.
