Margot E Tanner

This book by a native German lady who lived and suffered through the second World War and the Russian occupation of Germany is a powerful story. Her marriage to an American serviceman and move to Alabama where she met another kind of discrimination is interesting, too. Throughout her story she references how God directed and protected her, even to a senior living facility in Arizona.
This is a very personal, very inspiring read.
